Sayed Ali Abbas Razawi

He is a global ambassador for ‘Glasgow The Caring City”, a member of the Oxfam Zakat advisory board GB and promotes the largest faith-based blood donation drive in Scotland under the name of Imam Hussain.
In England, he is a trustee of the Maimonides Interfaith Foundation.

Internationally, Imam Razawi is a member of the European Council of Religious Leaders (ECRL), a member of the Global Sustainability Network (GSN), with a specific focus on goal 8.7 and sits on the advisory board of the Islamic Reporting Initiative (IRI).

In 2016, with the help of Interfaith Scotland, Imam Razawi founded the a Shia-Sunni Alliance in Scotland, to promote ecumenical dialogue and good-will.

In April 2017 he was part of a historic private meeting of four senior British imams with the Pope. The discussion centred around coexistence and reconciliation. He has since been working to support minority Christian groups in the Middle East
